MASTABA
Directed by Rachel Bowditch
Poetic Text by Tracey Raven Dawn
Mastaba is a haunting portrait of two women whose fates are intertwined, inseparable. Like angels, serene and beautiful, they discover one another and a diary full of secrets. Transfixed, they move as one. Working with poetry, dance, mask, photographic landscapes, video and music, our aim is to explore the delicate and fragile balance between life and death. This piece is inspired by Anne Sexton’s poem “Live”.
